Alleged thief nursing police dog bite after two Saskatoon garage break-ins

A police dog helped subdue a suspect in two garage break-ins in Saskatoon on Dec. 30, 2016.

A 20-year-old Saskatoon man is facing a number of charges, and nursing a dog bite, after two break-ins to garages early Friday morning.

The first robbery happened on the 1600 block of Grosvenor Avenue where a homeowner said a man had broken into his garage and fled on foot.

The suspect was then found hiding from officers at a house on the 1500 block of Argyle Avenue, with two backpacks full of various items.
